Get paid to play"It's not a job, it's an adventure". Those words speak volumes about working at Wilderness Tours. After reading Tolkien's Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Trilogy, I was instilled with a desire for adventure and found it running wild rivers. Wanting to "share that magic", I founded our University's Outdoor Club. As every club needed a faculty adviser, I asked my chemistry teacher, Ed Coleman, who had a small rafting and canoe company to be ours.
The club was an instant success and then Ed asked me I wanted a job as river guide. I was dumbfounded at the thought of actually being paid to do something I would gladly do for free. Of course, I kept that to myself.
It's hiring season for us to fill all 150 positions at WT. We are looking for not only river guides but cooks, servers, groundskeepers, office staff...every job that keeps a great resort going.
If you are interested please go to our hiring section of our website for full details and information.
