 | Reservations |
|  | Reservations are required and can be made by calling OKS with Visa/Mastercard/Amex or by mail with certified cheque or money order. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation with the balance due 30 days in advance of your arrival (OKS will automatically debit your credit card). Reservations within 30 days of your trip require full payment with the reservation. Full refunds are issued only if the cancellation notice is recieved more than 30 days prior to the course date. No refunds or alternate dates will be issued within 30 days of course date with cancellation insurance. While unlikely, if we must cancel, a full refund or alternate dates will be provided.
GROUP RATES
You kayak free when bringing a group of 5 kayakers. e.g. a group of 5 has 4 paid spots and 1 free, a group of 10 has 8 paid spots and 2 free and so on for larger groups. One free in 5 applies to both week long courses or weekend clinics. Organizers of 5 kayakers or more are automatically enrolled in our prestigious #1 CLUB. Call or email for our group organizer PLANNER PAK. Loaner videos or DVD’s highlighting everything OKS has to offer are also available upon request.
CANCELLATIONS AND INSURANCE
Full refunds are issued only if cancellation notice is received more than 30 days prior to your course date. No refunds or alternate dates are issued within 30 days of the course date without cancellation insurance which must be purchased when reserving. Cancellation insurance is only redeemable in the event of illness, accident or family bereavement. When written documentation is received, a refund will be issued only to the guest with cancellation seeking refund.

GRATUITIES AND TIPPING
Like any service industry employee, our staff appreciates a tip for exceeding your expectations. This is done easily without any awkwardness at WT. Because our guides move to another resort job after guiding, you will have an opportunity to tip at our "quest questionnaire" location. You will find a questionnaire, paper, pen, envelopes and a drop safe for your convenience. We want to continually improve and Joe and Joanne read every guest comment. As a general rule, most of our guests tip about 15%, the same as a server or bartender.
